Jeremiah 32:29
જે ખાલદીઓ લડી રહ્યાં છે, તેઓ આવીને તેને આગ લગાડી દેશે. તે તેમના ઘરની સાથે સળગાવી દેશે, જેના છાપરા પર બઆલ દેવના બલિદાન અર્પણો અને બીજા દેવોને ધરેલા પેયાર્પણો હતા. આ બાબતે મને ખૂબ ક્રોધિત કરી દીધો.

| fire | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| on | הָעִ֥יר | hāʿîr | ha-EER |
| this | הַזֹּ֛את | hazzōt | ha-ZOTE |
| city, | בָּאֵ֖שׁ | bāʾēš | ba-AYSH |
| and burn | וּשְׂרָפ֑וּהָ | ûśĕrāpûhā | oo-seh-ra-FOO-ha |
| houses, the with it | וְאֵ֣ת | wĕʾēt | veh-ATE |
| upon | הַבָּתִּ֡ים | habbottîm | ha-boh-TEEM |
| whose | אֲשֶׁר֩ | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| roofs | קִטְּר֨וּ | qiṭṭĕrû | kee-teh-ROO |
| incense offered have they | עַל | ʿal | al |
| unto Baal, | גַּגּֽוֹתֵיהֶ֜ם | gaggôtêhem | ɡa-ɡoh-tay-HEM |
| out poured and | לַבַּ֗עַל | labbaʿal | la-BA-al |
| drink offerings | וְהִסִּ֤כוּ | wĕhissikû | veh-hee-SEE-hoo |
| unto other | נְסָכִים֙ | nĕsākîm | neh-sa-HEEM |
| gods, | לֵאלֹהִ֣ים | lēʾlōhîm | lay-loh-HEEM |
| to | אֲחֵרִ֔ים | ʾăḥērîm | uh-hay-REEM |
| provoke me to anger. | לְמַ֖עַן | lĕmaʿan | leh-MA-an |
| הַכְעִסֵֽנִי׃ | hakʿisēnî | hahk-ee-SAY-nee |
