Jeremiah 11:14
“તેથી, હે યમિર્યા, એ લોકો માટે પ્રાર્થના કરીશ નહિ. તેમના તરફથી કોઇ વિનંતી કે આજીજી કરીશ નહિ, કારણ કે સંકટના સમયે તે લોકો ઘા નાખશે તે હું સાંભળવાનો નથી.”

Exodus 32:10
એટલે હવે તમે મને અટકાવશો નહિ, એમના પર માંરો ક્રોધ ભભૂકી ઊઠયો છે અને હું તેમનો નાશ કરીશ, અને તેઓના સ્થાને હે મૂસા, હું તમાંરામાંથી મહાન પ્રજા પેદા કરીશ.”

“મૂસા તથા શમૂએલ પણ જો મારી સમક્ષ ઊભા રહે, તોયે હું લોકો પર દયા કરવાનો નથી. તેઓને મારી નજર સમક્ષથી દૂર લઇ જા!
Hosea 5:6
અંતે તેઓ દેવની શોધ કરવા પોતાના ઘેટાં, બકરાં અને ઢોરઢાંખર સાથે આવશે અને તેઓનું બલિદાન દેવને અર્પશે. પરંતુ ત્યારે ઘણું જ મોડું થઇ ગયું હશે. તેઓ યહોવાને શોધી શકશે નહિ. દેવ તેઓથી વિમુખ થશે અને તેઓને એકલા મૂકી દેવામાં આવશે.
