આ સૌથી વધુ પવિત્રસ્થાનમાં પ્રમુખયાજક વર્ષમાં એક જ વાર પ્રવેશે છે. તે પોતાની સાથે દેવને અર્પણ કરવા રક્ત લાવે છે. પરંતુ ખ્રિસ્તની માફક તે પોતાનું રક્ત અર્પણ કરતો નથી. ખ્રિસ્ત તો આકાશમાં સીધાવ્યો પણ તેને બીજા પ્રમુખ યાજકની માફક વારંવાર રક્ત અર્પણ કરવાની જરૂર રહી નહી.
