લોકોને બધીજ આજ્ઞાઓ કહી સંભળાવ્યા પછી મૂસાએ વાછરડા અને બકરાનાં રક્ત સાથે પાણી મેળવ્યું. તે રકેત લઈને તેણે ઝૂફાની ડાળી અને કિરમજી ઊન વડે નિયમના પુસ્તક પર તથા બધા લોકો પર નિશાની માટે લોહી છાંટ્યું.

હંમેશને માટે એક જ વાર રક્ત લઈને ખ્રિસ્ત પરમપવિત્રસ્થાનમાં પ્રવેશ્યો. બકરાના તથા વાછરડાના રક્ત વડે નહિ, પરંતુ પોતાના જ રક્ત વડે આપણે માટે સર્વકાલિન આપણા ઉદ્ધારની પ્રાપ્તિ માટે તે પ્રવેશ્યો.

Numbers 19:6
ત્યારબાદ યાજકે ગંધતરુંનું લાકડું, ઝુફો અને કિરમજી રંગની દોરી લઈને ગાયનું દહન થતું હોય ત્યારે તે અગ્નિમાં નાખવું.
