Mark 16:7

અને હવે જલદી જાવ અને તેના શિષ્યોને કહો: ‘ઈસુ મરણમાંથી ઊઠયો છે. અને તે ગાલીલ જશે. ત્યાં તેને મળો.’ મારે જે કહેવાનું હતું તે આ છે. તમારા પહેલાં એ ત્યાં હશે. તમે તેને ત્યાં ગાલીલમાં જોશો. પછી દૂતે કહ્યું: “મેં તમને કહ્યું તે યાદ રાખો.”

પાછળથી, તેના શિષ્યોને ઈસુએ પોતાની જાતે દર્શન દીધા. આ તિબેરિયાસ (ગાલીલ) સરોવરની બાજુમાં હતું. તે આ રીતે બન્યું.

પરંતુ હવે તમારે એને માફ કરવો જોઈએ અને દિલાસો આપવો જોઈએ. આમ કરવાથી તેને વધુ પડતું દુઃખ નહિ થાય અને તે સંપૂર્ણરીતે ભાંગી નહિ પડે.

પણ ખ્રિસ્તે પોતાની જાતે પિતરને દર્શન દીધું અને પછી બીજા બાર પ્રેરિતોને સમૂહમાં દર્શન આપ્યું.

આ પછી ઘણા દિવસો માટે જે લોકો ગાલીલથી યરૂશાલેમ ઈસુ સાથે ગયા હતા, તેઓએ ઈસુને જોયો. તેઓ હમણાં લોકોની આગળ તેના સાક્ષી છે.

તે સમયે પિતર હજુ પણ ચોકમાં હતો. પ્રમુખ યાજકની એક દાસી પિતર પાસે આવી.
