ગિદિયોનના લશ્કરની ત્રણ ટુકડીઓએ રણશિંગડાં ફૂક્યા અને બરણીઓ ફોડી નાખી, પછી તેમના ડાબા હાથમાં મશાલો પકડી અને જમણા હાથમાં રણશિંગડા પકડયા જેથી તેઓ તેને ફૂંકી શકે પછી તેઓએ પોકાર કર્યો, “યહોવાનો જય, ગિદિયોનનો જય!”

કાઇન અને હાબેલ દેવને અર્પણ ચઢાવ્યું પણ હાબેલને વિશ્વાસ હતો તેથી વિશ્વાસથી તે કાઇનના અર્પણ કરતાં વધુ સાંરું એટલે દેવને પસંદ પડે તેવું અર્પણ લાવ્યો. દેવે હાબેલના અર્પણનો સ્વીકાર કર્યો અને હાબેલને ન્યાયી ઠરાવતી સાક્ષી આપી. હાબેલ મરણ પામ્યો, પણ આજે પણ તે પોતાના વિશ્વાસ દ્ધારા આપણને કહી રહ્યો છે.

પ્રભુ પોતે ગર્જનાસહિત આકાશમાંથી ઉતરશે. પ્રમુખ દૂતનીવાણી અને દેવના રણશિંગડાના અવાજ સાથે આદેશ આપવામાં આવશે. અને ખ્રિસ્તમાં જેઓ મૂએલાં છે તેઓ પ્રથમ ઊઠશે.
2 કરિંથીઓને 4:7
આ ખજાનો અમને દેવ તરફથી મળ્યો છે. પરંતુ અમે તો માત્ર માટીનાં પાત્રો જેવા છીએ જે આ ખજાનાને ગ્રહણ કરે છે. આ બતાવે છે કે આ પરાક્રમની અધિકતા દેવ અર્પિત છે, અમારી નથી.

અને આ એકમાત્ર ક્ષણમાં થશે. એક આંખના પલકારાની ત્વરાથી આપણે બદલાઈ જઈશું. જ્યારે છેલ્લું રણશિંગડું ફૂંકાશે ત્યારે આમ બનશે. રણશિંગડું ફૂંકાશે અને જે વિશ્વાસીઓ મૃત્યુ પામ્યા છે તે ચિરંતનકાળ પર્યંત જીવવા પુર્નજીવિત થશે. અને આપણે જે જીવંત છીએ તે પણ પરિવર્તન પામીશું.
યશાયા 27:13
તે દિવસે મોટું રણશિંગડું ફૂંકવામાં આવશે; અને જેઓ આશ્શૂર દેશમાં ખોવાઇ ગયા હતા અથવા તો મિસર જવા માટે ફરજ પડી હતી તેઓને યરૂશાલેમમાં યહોવાના પવિત્ર પર્વત પર તેમની ઉપાસના કરવાને પાછા એકત્ર કરવામાં આવશે.

તેથી લોકોએ પોકાર કર્યો અને યાજકોએ રણશિંગાં ફૂંકયાં, જ્યારે લોકોએ રણશિંગાંનો અવાજ સાંભળ્યો તેઓએ મોટી બૂમ પાડી અને તે સમયે નગરની દીવાલ પડી ગઈ, અને ત્યાં જે બધા લોકો ઉભા હતા અંદર ધસી ગયા અને તેને કબજે કરી લીધું.

સાત યાજકોએ હાથમાં ઘેટાંના શિંગડામાંથી બનાવેલ સાત રણશિંગડાં લઈને કોશની આગળ ચાલે. સાતમે દિવસે તારે અને તારા સૈનિકોએ સાત વખત શહરને ફરતે પ્રદક્ષિણા કરવી અને યાજકે રણશિંગડાઓ વગાડવાં.

હંમેશા તમને મદદરૂપ બનવા આ બાબતોનું સ્મરણ કરાવવા શક્ય તેટલા શ્રેષ્ઠ પ્રયત્નો હું કરતો રહીશ. મારા ચાલ્યા ગયા પછી તમે આ બાબતોને હંમેશા યાદ રાખવા શક્તિમાન બનો એમ હું ઈચ્છું છું.
