યશાયા 44:17
બાકીના ભાગમાંથી તે કોઇ દેવની મૂર્તિ બનાવે છે, તેને પગે લાગીને તેની પૂજા કરે છે, તે તેની પ્રાર્થના કરે છે અને કહે છે, “મારો ઉદ્ધાર કરો, કારણ તમે મારા દેવ છો!”

| he falleth down | יִסְגָּוד | yisgāwd | yees-ɡAHV-D |
| worshippeth and it, unto | ל֤וֹ | lô | loh |
| it, and prayeth | וְיִשְׁתַּ֙חוּ֙ | wĕyištaḥû | veh-yeesh-TA-HOO |
| unto | וְיִתְפַּלֵּ֣ל | wĕyitpallēl | veh-yeet-pa-LALE |
| saith, and it, | אֵלָ֔יו | ʾēlāyw | ay-LAV |
| Deliver | וְיֹאמַר֙ | wĕyōʾmar | veh-yoh-MAHR |
| me; for | הַצִּילֵ֔נִי | haṣṣîlēnî | ha-tsee-LAY-nee |
| thou | כִּ֥י | kî | kee |
| art my god. | אֵלִ֖י | ʾēlî | ay-LEE |
