Hebrews 11:5
હનોખે પણ દેવ પર વિશ્વાસ રાખ્યો, તેથી તે મરણનો અનુભવ કરે તે પહેલા દેવે તેને પૃથ્વી પરથી લઈ લીધો. તેથી તે મારણનો અનુભવ કરી શક્યો નહિ. શાસ્ત્રમાં લખ્યું છે કે હનોખ મનુષ્ય હતો, ત્યારે તેણે ખરેખર દેવને પ્રસન્ન કર્યો હતો. તે એકાએક અદશ્ય થઈ ગયો કેમ કે દેવે તેને ઉપર લઈ લીધો હતો.

વિશ્વાસ રાખ્યા વગર તમે તેને પ્રસન્ન કરી શકો નહિ. દેવ પાસે આવનાર વ્યક્તિએ વિશ્વાસ રાખવો જોઈએ કે તેનું અસ્તિસ્વ છે, અને સાચા હ્રદયથી શોધનારને તે મળે છે દેવ તેનો બદલો આપશે.
હિબ્રૂઓને પત્ર 11:3
વિશ્વાસના આધારથી જ આપણે જાણીએ છીએ કે સમગ્ર જગતની રચના દેવની આજ્ઞા પ્રમાણે થઈ છે એનો અર્થ એ થયો કે આપણે જે કાંઇ જાણીએ છીએ તે કોઈ અદશ્ય શક્તિ દ્ધારા બનાવવામાં આવેલું છે.
