Ecclesiastes 2:6
મેં મારાં વૃક્ષોને પાણી પીવડાવવાં માટે જળાશયો અને નહેરો બંધાવ્યા જેનાથી વનમાં ઊછરતાં વૃક્ષોને પણ પાણી સિંચાય.

તે ઝરણાની ધારે રોપેલા ઝાડ જેવો છે, જેના મૂળિયા પાણી તરફ ફેલાયેલાં છે; તાપ પડે તોય એને કશું ડરવા જેવું નથી; એનાં પાંદડા લીલાછમ રહે છે. દુકાળના વર્ષમાં તેને કશી ચિંતા નથી, તે ફળ આપતું જ રહે છે.
