પરંતુ જ્યારે થેસ્સલોનિકાના યહૂદિઓએ સાંભળ્યું કે પાઉલે બરૈયામાં દેવનાં વચન કહ્યા. તેઓ પણ બરૈયામાં આવ્યા. થેસ્સલોનિકાના લોકોએ બરૈયાના લોકોને ઉશ્કેરીને મુશ્કેલીમાં મૂક્યા.
