2 Samuel 23:7
જો કોઇ વ્યકિત તેમને અડવા જાય તો લોખંડના લાકડાના ભાલાની જેમ વાગે છે. એમને તો આગમાં ફેંકી દેવામાં આવશે. અને સદંતર નાશ કરી દેવામાં આવશે.

યોહાન 15:6
જો કોઈ વ્યક્તિ મારામાં રહેતી નથી તો પછી તે ડાળી ફેંકી દેવા જેવી છે. તે ડાળી નાશ પામે છે. લોકો સુકાઈ ગયેલી ડાળીઓ ઉપાડી લે છે અને તેને અગ્નિમાં નાખીને બાળી નાખે છે.

હવે મારા દુશ્મનો ક્યાં છે? ક્યાં છે એ લોકો જે હું તેઓનો રાજા થાઉં તેમ તેઓ ઈચ્છતા નહોતા? મારા દુશ્મનોને અહી લાવો અને તેઓને મારી નાખો. હું તેઓને મરતા જોઈશ!

હું હવે દ્રાક્ષાવાડી પ્રત્યે ક્રોધિત નથી, પણ હવે અહીં જો કાંટા અને ઝાંખરા ઊગે તો હું તેનો સામનો કરી તેને બાળીને ભસ્મ કરી નાખીશ.
