Genesis 9:16
જયારે હું ધ્યાનથી વાદળોમાં મેઘધનુષ્યને જોઈશ ત્યારે મને માંરી અને પૃથ્વી પરના બધા જીવો વચ્ચેનો કાયમનો કરાર યાદ આવશે.”

| everlasting remember may I that | לִזְכֹּר֙ | lizkōr | leez-KORE |
| בְּרִ֣ית | bĕrît | beh-REET | |
| the covenant | עוֹלָ֔ם | ʿôlām | oh-LAHM |
| between | בֵּ֣ין | bên | bane |
| God | אֱלֹהִ֔ים | ʾĕlōhîm | ay-loh-HEEM |
| and | וּבֵין֙ | ûbên | oo-VANE |
| every | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| living | נֶ֣פֶשׁ | nepeš | NEH-fesh |
| creature | חַיָּ֔ה | ḥayyâ | ha-YA |
| of all | בְּכָל | bĕkāl | beh-HAHL |
| flesh | בָּשָׂ֖ר | bāśār | ba-SAHR |
| that | אֲשֶׁ֥ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| is upon | עַל | ʿal | al |
| the earth. | הָאָֽרֶץ׃ | hāʾāreṣ | ha-AH-rets |
