આમ, તે દિવસે તેમને આશીર્વાદ આપી ઇસ્રાએલે કહ્યું,“ઇસ્રાએલના લોકો જ્યારે પણ કોઇને આશીર્વાદ આપશે ત્યારે તમાંરા નામનો ઉપયોગ કરશે, તેઓ કહેશે, ‘દેવ તમને એફ્રાઈમ અને મનાશ્શા જેવા બનાવો.”આમ તેણે એફ્રાઈમને મનાશ્શાથી આગળ મૂકયો.
