Genesis 28:14
પૃથ્વી પર માંટીના જેટલાં રજકણ છે તેટલા તારા વંશજો હશે. તેઓ પૂર્વ-પશ્ચિમ તથા ઉત્તર દક્ષિણમાં ફેલાશે. અને તારા તથા તારા વંશજોને કારણે પૃથ્વી પરની બધી પ્રજાઓ આશીર્વાદ પ્રાપ્ત કરશે.

| abroad spread shalt thou and | וּפָֽרַצְתָּ֛ | ûpāraṣtā | oo-fa-rahts-TA |
| to the west, | יָ֥מָּה | yāmmâ | YA-ma |
| east, the to and | וָקֵ֖דְמָה | wāqēdĕmâ | va-KAY-deh-ma |
| north, the to and | וְצָפֹ֣נָה | wĕṣāpōnâ | veh-tsa-FOH-na |
| and to the south: | וָנֶ֑גְבָּה | wānegbâ | va-NEɡ-ba |
| seed thy in and thee in and | וְנִבְרֲכ֥וּ | wĕnibrăkû | veh-neev-ruh-HOO |
| shall all | בְךָ֛ | bĕkā | veh-HA |
| families the | כָּל | kāl | kahl |
| of the earth | מִשְׁפְּחֹ֥ת | mišpĕḥōt | meesh-peh-HOTE |
| be blessed. | הָֽאֲדָמָ֖ה | hāʾădāmâ | ha-uh-da-MA |
| וּבְזַרְעֶֽךָ׃ | ûbĕzarʿekā | oo-veh-zahr-EH-ha |
