Genesis 17:13
તમાંરા ઘરમાં જન્મેલો ગુલામ હોય, તેની તેમજ પૈસાથી જેને ખરીદવામાં આવ્યો હોય, તેની બંન્નેની સુન્નત કરાવવી જ જોઈએ. આ રીતે તમાંરા રાષ્ટમાં પ્રત્યેક બાળકની સુન્નત થશે.

| be shall | בְרִיתִ֛י | bĕrîtî | veh-ree-TEE |
| in your flesh | בִּבְשַׂרְכֶ֖ם | bibśarkem | beev-sahr-HEM |
| for an everlasting | לִבְרִ֥ית | librît | leev-REET |
