Galatians 4:30
પરતું પવિત્રશાસ્ત્ર શું કહે છે? “ગુલામ સ્ત્રી અને તેના પુત્રને કાઢી મૂક! મુક્ત સ્ત્રીનો પુત્ર તેના પિતા પાસે છે તે બધું જ મેળવશે. પરંતુ ગુલામ સ્ત્રીના પુત્રને કશું જ મળશે નહિ.

Galatians 3:8
પવિત્રશાસ્ત્રએ જણાવ્યું છે કે ભવિષ્યમાં શું થશે. આ લખાણે જણાવ્યું કે દેવ બિનયહૂદી લોકોને તેઓના વિશ્વાસ થકી યોગ્યતા પ્રદાન કરશે. આ સુવાર્તા ઈબ્રાહિમને પહેલા જણાવેલ હતી, પવિત્રશાસ્ત્ર આમ કહે છે કે: “ઈબ્રાહિમ, પૃથ્વીના બધા લોકોને ધન્ય કરવા માટે દેવ તારો ઉપયોગ કરશે.”
Galatians 3:22
પરંતુ આ સાચું નથી કારણ કે નિયમશાસ્ત્ર કહે છે કે, બધા જ લોકો પાપના બંધનથી બધાયેલા છે. પવિત્રશાસ્ત્ર આમ શા માટે કહે છે? તેથી કે જેથી વિશ્વાસ થકી લોકોને વચનનું પ્રદાન થઈ શકે. જે લોકોને ખ્રિસ્ત ઈસુમાં વિશ્વાસ છે તેઓને વચન આપવામાં આવ્યું છે.
James 4:5
તમે શું એમ માનો છો કે શાસ્ત્રનો કશો જ અર્થ નથી? શાસ્ત્ર કહે છે કે; “દેવે જે આપણામાં આત્મા મૂક્યો છે તેથી તે આત્મા તેની જાત માટે જ ઈચ્છે છે.”
