Ezekiel 31:18
“એ વૃક્ષ એટલે મિસરનો રાજા અને તેની વિશાળ સેના. એદનમાંના વૃક્ષો પણ એટલાં ઊંચા કે ભવ્ય નહોતાં. પણ અત્યારે હવે એદનમાંના વૃક્ષોની જેમ એ કબરમાં પહોંચી જશે. અને યુદ્ધમાં ખપી ગયેલા દુષ્ટો સાથે પોઢી જશે.” આ યહોવા મારા માલિકના વચન છે.

તેના પડવાના અવાજથી પ્રજાઓ ભયભીત થઇને થથરી ગઇ, કારણ કે કબરમાં જનારાઓ સાથે મેં તેને પણ કબરમાં ધકેલી દીધું, એદનવાડીના બીજાં ગવિર્ષ્ઠ વૃક્ષો અને લબાનોનના પસંદગી પામેલા શ્રેષ્ઠ વૃક્ષો તેને પોતાની વચ્ચે કબરમાં જોઇને દિલાસો પામ્યાં.
