Ezekiel 20:21
“‘પરંતુ તેઓનાં સંતાનોએ પણ મારી વિરુદ્ધ બંડ કર્યું. તેઓ મારા નિયમો પ્રમાણે ચાલ્યા નહિ અને મારા કાનૂનો અનુસરવાની કાળજી રાખી નહિ. મારા કાયદાઓનું પાલન કરવાથી માણસ જીવન પામે છે. વળી તેઓએ મારા વિશ્રામવારને અપવિત્ર કર્યા. તેથી મેં રણમાં તેમના પર મારો રોષ વરસાવવાનો નિર્ણય કર્યો.

Deuteronomy 31:27
મૂસાએ તેઓને કહ્યું, તમે કેવા બળવાખોર અને હઠીલા છો તે હું જાણું છું. હું હજી તમાંરી વચ્ચે જીવતો છું છતાં આજે તમે યહોવાની આજ્ઞાનું ઉલ્લંઘન કરો છો, તો માંરા મૃત્યુ પછી તો તમે શું નહિ કરો!
