Exodus 34:7
હું યહોવા હજારો પેઢી સુધી કરૂણા રાખું છું અને તેઓના પાપોની માંફી આપું છું. તેમ છતાં ગુનેગારને નિર્દોષ ઠરાવવા ના પાડું છું. અને પિતાના અધર્મની સજા ત્રીજી અને ચોથી પેઢી સુધી પુત્રો અને પૌત્રોને કરું છું!”
