Exodus 20:19
પછી તેઓએ મૂસાને કહ્યું, “અમાંરી સાથે તમે જ બોલો, તો અમે સાંભળીશું, પણ દેવ અમાંરી સાથે ન બોલે. નહિ તો અમે બધા મરી જઈશું.”

| hear: will we and us, | וְנִשְׁמָ֑עָה | wĕnišmāʿâ | veh-neesh-MA-ah |
| but let not | וְאַל | wĕʾal | veh-AL |
| God | יְדַבֵּ֥ר | yĕdabbēr | yeh-da-BARE |
| speak | עִמָּ֛נוּ | ʿimmānû | ee-MA-noo |
| with | אֱלֹהִ֖ים | ʾĕlōhîm | ay-loh-HEEM |
| us, lest | פֶּן | pen | pen |
| we die. | נָמֽוּת׃ | nāmût | na-MOOT |
