ત્યારે મૂસાએ કહ્યું, “યહોવાએ આદેશ આપ્યો છે કે, ‘તમાંરા વંશજોને માંટે તેમાંથી8કપ ભરીને માંન્ના રાખી મૂકો; જેથી હું તમને મિસરમાંથી બહાર લઈ આવ્યો ત્યારે મેં તમને લોકોને જે ભોજન ખવડાવ્યું હતું તે તેઓ જોઈ શકે.”‘

நமக்கு எதிரானதாகவும் கட்டளைகளால் நமக்கு விரோதமாகவும் இருந்த கையெழுத்தை அழித்து, அதை நடுவில் இல்லாதபடிக்கு எடுத்து, சிலுவையின்மேல் ஆணியடித்து;

தேவனுடைய சட்டங்களை நாம் மீறிவிட்டதால் நாம் கடன்பட்டிருந்தோம். எந்தெந்த சட்டங்களை நாம் மீறினோம் என்பதை அக்கடன் பட்டியலிட்டது. ஆனால் தேவன் அந்தக் கடனை நமக்கு மன்னித்துவிட்டார். தேவன் அக்கடனை அப்புறப்படுத்தி ஆணிகளால் சிலுவையில் அறைந்துவிட்டார்.
