તેણે યહોવા સમક્ષ ઘરાવીને તેના માંથા પર હાથ મૂકી મુલાકાતમંડપમાં પ્રવેશદ્વાર આગળ તેને વધેરવું. ત્યારબાદ હારુનના પુત્રો-યાજકોએ તેનું લોહી વેદીની ચારે બાજુએ છાંટવું.

ખ્રિસ્ત નિષ્પાપી હતો, માટે જેણે પાપ જાણ્યું નહોતું તેને તેણે આપણે માટે પાપરૂપ કર્યો. દેવે આમ અમારાં માટે કર્યુ કે જેથી અમે ખ્રિસ્તમાં દેવ સાથે સત્યનિષ્ઠ બની શકીએ.
Romans 5:15
એક માણસના પાપના કારણે ઘણા લોકો મૃત્યુ પામ્યા. પરંતુ દેવે લોકો પર જે કૃપા કરી તે ઘણી વધારે હતી. પરંતુ ઘણા લોકોને જીવનદાન મળ્યું. જે એક માણસ એટલે ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્તની કૃપાથી ઘણાના ઉપર દેવની કૃપા તથા દાન થયાં છે, જેથી જેવું પાપ છે તેવું કૃપાદાન છે એમ નથી.
Romans 5:6
ખ્રિસ્તના રક્તથી આપણે દેવ સાથે ન્યાયી થયા છીએ. આપણે જ્યારે ખૂબ નિર્બળ હતા ત્યારે આપણા માટે ખ્રિસ્ત મૃત્યુ પામ્યો. આપણે દેવથી વિમુખ જીવન જીવી રહ્યા હતા, ત્યારે યોગ્ય સમયે ખ્રિસ્ત આપણા વતી મૃત્યુ પામ્યો.
Isaiah 53:11
તેની બધી વેદનાઓને અંતે તે પ્રકાશ જોવા પામશે અને પરમ તૃપ્તિ અનુભવશે. પ્રભુ કહે છે, “આમ મારો નિદોર્ષ સેવક અનેકોને નીતિમાન બનાવશે, અને તેમની સજા પોતાને માથે લઇ લેશે.”
Isaiah 53:6
આપણે રસ્તો ભૂલી ગયા છીએ, અને ઘેટાંની જેમ રઝળી ગયા છે. પણ યહોવાએ આપણા બધાનો દોષ તેને માથે નાખ્યો છે.
Isaiah 52:15
પરંતુ હવે અનેક પ્રજાઓ તેને જોઇને આશ્ચર્યચકિત થઇ જશે. અને રાજાઓ આશ્ચર્ય પામીને સ્તબ્ધ થઇ જશે. કારણ કે અગાઉ કોઇએ કહ્યું ના હોય એવું તેઓ જોશે, અને પહેલાં કદી સાંભળ્યું ન હોય એવું નજરે ભાળશે.”
Leviticus 3:1
જો કોઈ વ્યક્તિ યહોવા સમક્ષ શાંત્યર્પણ લાવવા ઈચ્છતો હોય, તે પશુ ગાય પણ હોઈ શકે, તે અર્પણ પશુ હોય તો નર હોય કે માંદા હોય, પણ તે ખોડખાંપણ વગરનું હોવું જોઈએ.
