Deuteronomy 5:33
અને જો તમાંરે જીવતા રહેવું હોય, સુખી થવું હોય અને જે ભૂમિનો કબજો તમે પ્રાપ્ત કરવાના છો તેમાં દીર્ધાયુ ભોગવવું હોય તો તમે તમાંરા દેવ યહોવાએ આપેલા માંર્ગ પર જીવન ગુજારજો.

તે લોકોની વૃત્તિ હંમેશા આવી રહે અને તેઓ માંરાથી ડરતા રહે અને માંરી આજ્ઞાઓનું પાલન કરતા રહે તો કેવું સારું! તે લોકો અને તેમનાં સંતાનો પેઢી દર પેઢી સુખી રહે.

પછી જ્યારે હું તમારી બધી આજ્ઞાઓ અભ્યાસ કરીશ હું ક્યારેય શરમિંદો નહિં થાઉં.

કેટલાક લોકો તો જાણે કે દેવના મહિમા માટે જ જીવતા હોય છે. તેઓ પોતાની સારી પ્રતિષ્ઠાનું જતન કરતાં અવિનાશી જીવન જીવી જાય છે. હંમેશા તેઓ સતત સારાં કામો કરવા સારું પોતાનું જીવન જીવતા હોય છે. દેવ એવા લોકોને અનંતજીવન આપશે.
1 Timothy 4:8
શરીરને તાલીમ આપવાના કેટલાએક ફાયદા છે. પરંતુ દેવની સેવાથી તો દરેક વાતે ફાયદો જ છે. દેવની સેવાથી આ જીવનમાં તેમજ ભવિષ્યના જીવનમાં પણ એના આશીર્વાદ પ્રાપ્ત થાય છે.
