“તમાંરા પડોશીની પત્નીની કામના કરવી નહિ, તેમ તેના ઘર કે ખેતર, દાસ કે દાસી, પશુ, ગધેડાં કે અન્ય કોઈ પણ વસ્તુનો કબજો કરવાની ઇચ્છા કરવી નહિ.”

ધનવાન થવાની ઈચ્છા રાખતા લોકો પોતે જ પ્રલોભનોની જાળમાં પકડાય છે. તેઓને ઘણી બધી ચિત્ર-વિચિત્ર વસ્તુઓ મેળવી લેવાની ઈચ્છા થાય છે, કે જે ચીજે તેઓને નુકસાન કે આઘાત આપનારી નીવડે છે. એ વસ્તુઓ લોકોને પાયમાલ કરીને તેઓનો સર્વનાશ આણે છે.
