Deuteronomy 24:15
સૂર્યાસ્ત પહેલાં તે માંણસને તમાંરે તેની મજૂરી રોજની રોજ ચૂકવી દેવી, કારણ કે એ ગરીબ હોવાથી એ નાણાં પર જ તેના જીવનનો આધાર છે. તમે જો એમ કરશો તો એને તમાંરી વિરુદ્ધ યહોવાને ફરિયાદ કરવી પડશે નહિ અને તમને પાપ પણ લાગશે નહિ.

યહોયાકીમ રાજા તારી પર શરમ છે, કારણ કે તેં પ્રામાણિકતાથી અને અન્યાયથી લોકો પર દબાણ મુક્યું છે, કે તારી માટે તેઓ સખત કામ કરે અને જેની ઉપરની તરફ ઓરડા હોય તેવો મહેલ બનાવે. તેં જ તારા સાથી માણસોને તેમને તેમનો પગાર આપ્યા વગર કામ કરવા માટે દબાણ કર્યુ હતું.

“પણ સાવધાન! જોજો, એવું ના બને કે, “જયારે સાતમું ઋણમુકિતનું વર્ષ નજીક આવ્યું છે ત્યારે હલકા વિચારથી ભરાઇને તમે તમાંરા આથિર્ક મુશ્કેલીમાં આવી પડેલા જાતભાઈ પ્રત્યે લાગણીહીન બની તેને કંઈ ન આપો, નહિતર તે તમાંરી વિરુદ્ધ યહોવાને પોકાર કરશે અને તમે દોષિત ઠરશો.
Proverbs 3:27
જો કોઇને તારી મદદની જરૂર હોય અને તું સમર્થ હોય તો ના પાડીશ નહિ.
Job 35:9
જો દુષ્ટ લોકોને હાનિ થાય તો તેઓ મદદ માટે પોકાર કરશે. તેઓ શકિતશાળી લોકો પાસે જાય છે અને મદદ માંગે છે.
