Deuteronomy 21:16
અને પછી જયારે પુત્રો વચ્ચે મિલકત વહેંચવાનો વખત આવે ત્યારે તેણે અણમાંનીતી પત્નીનો પુત્ર જે એનો સાચો મોટો પુત્ર છે તેની અવગણના કરીને માંનીતી પત્નીના પુત્રને મોટો પુત્ર ગણવો નહિ.

maketh he | הַנְחִיל֣וֹ | hanḥîlô | hahn-hee-LOH |

| inherit to | בָּנָ֔יו | bānāyw | ba-NAV |
| אֵ֥ת | ʾēt | ate | |
| that which | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| he hath, | יִֽהְיֶ֖ה | yihĕye | yee-heh-YEH |
| that he may | ל֑וֹ | lô | loh |
| not | לֹ֣א | lōʾ | loh |
| make | יוּכַ֗ל | yûkal | yoo-HAHL |
| the son | לְבַכֵּר֙ | lĕbakkēr | leh-va-KARE |
| beloved the of | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| firstborn | בֶּן | ben | ben |
| before | הָ֣אֲהוּבָ֔ה | hāʾăhûbâ | HA-uh-hoo-VA |
| עַל | ʿal | al | |
| son the | פְּנֵ֥י | pĕnê | peh-NAY |
| of the hated, | בֶן | ben | ven |
| which is indeed the firstborn: | הַשְּׂנוּאָ֖ה | haśśĕnûʾâ | ha-seh-noo-AH |
| הַבְּכֹֽר׃ | habbĕkōr | ha-beh-HORE |
