Deuteronomy 19:18
ન્યાયાધીશોએ કાળજીપૂર્વક નિષ્પક્ષ તપાસ કરવી, અને જો આરોપ મૂકનાર સાક્ષી ખોટો છે એમ પુરવાર થાય,

| inquisition: | הֵיטֵ֑ב | hêṭēb | hay-TAVE |
| and, behold, | וְהִנֵּ֤ה | wĕhinnē | veh-hee-NAY |
| witness the if | עֵֽד | ʿēd | ade |
| be a false | שֶׁ֙קֶר֙ | šeqer | SHEH-KER |
| witness, | הָעֵ֔ד | hāʿēd | ha-ADE |
| testified hath and | שֶׁ֖קֶר | šeqer | SHEH-ker |
| falsely | עָנָ֥ה | ʿānâ | ah-NA |
| against his brother; | בְאָחִֽיו׃ | bĕʾāḥîw | veh-ah-HEEV |
