તેના પિતા હિઝિક્યાએ તોડી પાડેલા ઉચ્ચસ્થાનો પરનાં થાનકો તેણે ફરી બંધાવ્યાં, તેણે બઆલને માટે યજ્ઞ વેદીઓ ચણાવી અને ઇસ્રાએલના રાજાની જેમ અશેરાદેવીની મૂર્તિ બનાવી અને તેની પૂજા કરી, અને આકાશમાંનાં બધાં નક્ષત્રોની સેવાપૂજા કરવાનું શરૂ કર્યું.
