Deuteronomy 15:11
તમાંરા દેશમાં હંમેશા તમાંરી વચ્ચે કોઇ ગરીબ તો હોવાના જ. તેથી હું તમને આજ્ઞા કરું છું કે, તમાંરા જે કોઈ જાતભાઈ ગરીબ હોય અને આથિર્ક ભીંસમાં હોય તો તેમને ઉદારતાથી મદદ કરજો.

| thine hand | אֶת | ʾet | et |

| unto thy brother, | לְאָחִ֧יךָ | lĕʾāḥîkā | leh-ah-HEE-ha |
| poor, thy to | לַֽעֲנִיֶּ֛ךָ | laʿăniyyekā | la-uh-nee-YEH-ha |
| and to thy needy, | וּלְאֶבְיֹֽנְךָ֖ | ûlĕʾebyōnĕkā | oo-leh-ev-yoh-neh-HA |
