Daniel 8:12
બળવાને કારણે દૈંનિક અર્પણોની સાથે સૈન્ય પણ આપી દેવામાં આવ્યું; પરિણામે સત્યને જમીન પર ફેકી દેવામાં આવ્યું અને પોતાની મરજી મુજબ ર્વત્યું, ને નઠારૂ-ભૂંડાઇ વિજયી બની અને આબાદ થઇ.

મેં એ મેંઢાને પશ્ચિમમાં, ઉત્તરમાં અને દક્ષિણમાં શિંગડા મારતો જોયો. તેની આગળ કોઇ પ્રાણી ટકી શકે એમ નહોતું, અને એના પંજામાંથી કોઇ છોડાવી શકે એમ નહોતું. તે મરજીમાં આવે તેમ કરતો હતો અને અભિમાની બની ગયો હતો.
