Acts 16:27
સંત્રી જાગી ઊઠ્યો. તેણે જોયું કે કારાવાસના દરવાજા ઉધડી ગયા હતા. તેણે વિચાર્યુ, કે કેદીઓ લગભગ ભાગી ગયા છે. તેથી સંત્રીએ તેની તલવાર ઉપાડી અને તેની જાતે આત્મહત્યા કરવા જતો હતો.

જયારે ઝિમ્રીએ જોયું કે શહેર દુશ્મનને હાથ ગયું છે, એટલે તેણે રાજમહેલમાં જઈને આખા મહેલને આગ લગાડી અને તે મરી ગયો.

તે માણસોએ પાઉલ અને સિલાસને ઘણા ફટકા માર્યા. પછી આગેવાનોએ પાઉલ અને સિલાસને જેલમાં પૂર્યા. તે આગેવાનોએ દરોગાને કહ્યું, “સખ્ત જાપ્તા નીચે તેઓની ચોકી કરજે.”
