ત્યારબાદ રિસ્પાહે શોકના વસ્ત્રો લીધા અને ખડક ઉપર મૂક્યાં, તે કાપણીની શરૂઆતથી તે ચોમાંસુ આવ્યું ત્યાં સુધી ત્યાં રહ્યાં. રિસ્પાહે શબ ઉપર ચોકી પહેરો રાખ્યો. તે દિવસે દરમ્યાન કોઈ જંગલી પક્ષીને કે રાત દરમ્યાન કોઈ જંગલી પશુને તેના પર આવવા દેતી નહોતી.
