યોઆબના માંણસોમાંના એકે અમાંસાના શબ પાસે ઊભા રહીને પોકાર કર્યો, “જેઓ યોઆબ અને દાઉદના પક્ષમાં હોય, તેઓ બધા યોઆબ સાથે જાય!”

વાત એમ નથી. પણ એફ્રાઇમના પર્વતીય પ્રદેશનો એક મૅંણસ, બિખ્રીનો પુત્ર શેબા છે, તેણે રાજા દાઉદ સામે બળવો કર્યો છે, તે મૅંણસ અમને સોંપી દો એટલે હું તમાંરા નગરનો ઘેરો ઉઠાવી લઈને નગરને શાંતિમાં રહેવા દઈશ.”એટલે પેલી સ્ત્રીએ કહ્યું, “જો એમ હોય તો તેનું માંથું અમે કોટ ઉપરથી તમાંરા તરફ નાખીશું,”
