2 Samuel 12:21
દાઉદના ચાકરો વિસ્મય પામ્યા, તેમણે તેને પૂછયું, “આ કેવું? જયારે છોકરો જીવતો હતો ત્યારે તમે અન્ન ત્યાગ કર્યો અને તેને માંટે રડ્યા, પરંતુ અત્યારે હવે તે મૃત્યુ પામ્યો, ત્યારે તમે ઊઠીને ખાધું!”

| is this | הַזֶּ֖ה | hazze | ha-ZEH |
| that | אֲשֶׁ֣ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| thou hast done? | עָשִׂ֑יתָה | ʿāśîtâ | ah-SEE-ta |
| thou didst fast | בַּֽעֲב֞וּר | baʿăbûr | ba-uh-VOOR |
| and weep | הַיֶּ֤לֶד | hayyeled | ha-YEH-led |
| child, the for | חַי֙ | ḥay | ha |
| צַ֣מְתָּ | ṣamtā | TSAHM-ta | |
| while it was alive; | וַתֵּ֔בְךְּ | wattēbĕk | va-TAY-vek |
| but when | וְכַֽאֲשֶׁר֙ | wĕkaʾăšer | veh-ha-uh-SHER |
| child the | מֵ֣ת | mēt | mate |
| was dead, | הַיֶּ֔לֶד | hayyeled | ha-YEH-led |
