2 Corinthians 4:18
અમે તે વસ્તુનો વિચાર કરીએ છીએ જે જોઈ શકાતી નથી જે વસ્તુ અમે જોઈએ છીએ તે ક્ષાણિક છે. અને જે વસ્તુ અમે જોઈ શકતા નથી તેનું સાતત્ય અનંત છે.

જગતમાં આ દુષ્ટ વસ્તુઓ છે આપણા પાપી સ્વભાવને પ્રસન્ન કરવા માટેની ઈચ્છા, આંખોની લાલસા માટેની ઈચ્છા,આપણી સંપત્તિનું ખૂબ અભિમાન હોવું, આ બધું બાપ (દેવ) પાસેથી આવતું નથી, આ સર્વ જગતમાંથી આવે છે.
Hebrews 11:13
આ બધાજ માણસો મરણ પામ્યા ત્યાં સુધી દેવે વચનો આપ્યાં તેમાંથી કાંઇજ મેળવી શક્યા નહિ છતાં વિશ્વાસથી જીવ્યા, તેઓએ પેલાં વચનો દુરથી જોયા. અને તેમનું સ્વાગત કર્યુ અને તેઓએ એ પણ જાણ્યું કે આ પૃથ્વી અમારું કાયમી ઘર નથી, અહીં તો અમે માત્ર મુસાફરો જ છીએ.

અમે પ્રાર્થીએ છીએ કે પ્રભુ ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્ત પોતે અને દેવ આપણો બાપ તમને દિલાસો આપે અને તમારા દરેક કાર્ય અને વાણીને પ્રોત્સાહિત કરી સક્ષમ બનાવે.

મૂસાએ પાપનું ક્ષણિક સુખ ભોગવવાને બદલે તેણે વિશ્વાસથી દેવના લોકોની સાથે મુશ્કેલીઓ વેઠવાનું આનંદથી પસંદ કર્યું.
Hebrews 12:2
આપણે હંમેશા ઈસુનો દાખલો લઈ તેને અનુસરીએ. ઈસુ આપણા વિશ્વાસનો અગ્રેસર છે. અને તે આપણો વિશ્વાસ પૂર્ણ કરે છે. આપણે ઈસુ તરફ દષ્ટિ રાખીએ. તેણે પછીથી મળનાર આનંદને નજર સમક્ષ રાખીને વધસ્તંભ પર શરમજનક મરણ સહન કર્યુ અને હાલ તે દેવના રાજ્યાસનની જમણી બાજુ બિરાજમાન છે.
