ઉપરાંત યહૂદાના બધા આગેવાનો, યાજકો અને લોકો વધુ બગડતા અને બગડતા ગયા. તેઓ આજુબાજુની પ્રજાઓના દેવોની મૂર્તિઓને પૂજતા હતા, આમ તેઓએ યરૂશાલેમમાં આવેલા યહોવાના મંદિરને ષ્ટ કર્યુ જે તેણે પાવન કર્યુ હતું.
