વળી તેણે યરૂશાલેમના લોકોને આજ્ઞા કરી કે તેઓ પોતાની ઉપજનો થોડો ભાગ યાજકો તથા લેવીઓ પાસે લાવે, જેથી તેઓ દેવના નિયમશાસ્ત્ર પ્રત્યે પોતાને સંપૂર્ણ સમય આપી શકે.
