આથી યહોવા તેના દેવે તેને અરામીઓના રાજાના હાથમાં સોંપી દીધો; તેઓએ તેના લશ્કરને હરાવ્યું અને તેની પ્રજામાંથી ઘણા માણસોને બંદીવાન કરી દમસ્ક લઇ ગયા. યહોવાએ તેને ઇસ્રાએલના રાજા પેકાહ દ્વારા હરાવ્યો. પેકાહ રમાલ્યાનો પુત્ર હતો.
