પછી શાઉલે દાઉદને કહ્યું, “માંરા પુત્ર, દાઉદ, હું તને આશીર્વાદ આપુ છું. તને આશીર્વાદ મળે, તું મહાન કાર્યો કરે અને વિજયી બને.” પછી દાઉદ પોતાને રસ્તે પડયો અને શાઉલ પોતાને ઘેર પાછો ફર્યો.
