અને શાઉલે દાઉદને પોતાના ભાલા વડે ભીંત સૅંથે જડી દેવાનો પ્રયત્ન કર્યો; પણ દાઉદે ઘા ચુકાવ્યો અને શાઉલનો ભાલો ભીંતમાં પેસી ગયો; એ રાત્રે દાઉદ ત્યાંથી ભાગી ગયો.
