તૂરના રાજા હીરામે સુલેમાંનને દેવદારનું લાકડું, એરેજનું લાકડું, સોનું અને બીજું જે કાઇ જોઇતું હોય તે આપ્યું હતું તેથી રાજા સુલેમાંને હીરામને ગાલીલ પ્રદેશમાંના 20 ગામો આપ્યા હતા.

આમ સુલેમાને દેવનાં મંદિરનું અને પોતાના મહેલનું બાંધકામ પૂર્ણ કર્યું. જે કાંઇ તેણે વિચાર્યુ હતું તે બધું જ તેણે પૂર્ણ કર્યુ.

મને જે પસંદ હતું તે મેં પ્રાપ્ત કર્યું. અને કોઇ પણ પ્રકારનાં આનંદથી મેં મારી જાતને રોકી નહિ. સખત પરિશ્રમમાં પણ મેં મારી જાતને રોકી નહિ. સખત પરિશ્રમમાં પણ મેં ઘણો આનંદ મેળવ્યો. આ આનંદ મારા સઘળા પરિશ્રમનો કેવળ બદલો હતો.

Ecclesiastes 6:9
આ ભટકતી ઇચ્છાઓ કરતાં આપણી પાસે જે હોય તેમાં સંતોષ માનવો તે વધારે ઇષ્ટ છે; એ પણ વ્યર્થ તથા હવામાં બાચકા ભરવાં જેવું છે.
