ઇસ્રાએલના રાજાએ પોતાના અમલદારોને કહ્યું, “તમે જાણો છો કે અરામના રાજાએ હજી સુધી રામોથ-ગિલયાદને પોતાના કબજા હેઠળ રાખ્યું છે જે આજે પણ આપણાં છે અને આપણે હજી સુધી કશું કર્યા વગર શાંત બેસી રહ્યા છીએ.”
