બપોર વીતી ગઇ અને છેક સંધ્યાબલિનો સમય થયો ત્યાં સુધી તેઓ ધૂણતા રહ્યાં, અને તેઓના દેવને બોલાવતા રહ્યાં; પણ ત્યાં કંઈ અવાજ કે જવાબ ન મળ્યો, કારણકે કોઇ સાંભળતું નહોતું.
