1 Kings 11:11
તેથી યહોવાએ તેને કહ્યું, “આપણી વચ્ચે થયેલા કરારોનું પાલન તેં કર્યું નથી અને માંરા હુકમો પાળ્યા નથી, તેથી હું તારી પાસેથી રાજય ખૂંચવી લઈશ અને તારા સેવકોમાંથી કોઈ એકને આપીશ.

| of done | עִמָּ֔ךְ | ʿimmāk | ee-MAHK |
| not hast thou and thee, | וְלֹ֤א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| kept | שָׁמַ֙רְתָּ֙ | šāmartā | sha-MAHR-TA |
| my covenant | בְּרִיתִ֣י | bĕrîtî | beh-ree-TEE |
| statutes, my and | וְחֻקֹּתַ֔י | wĕḥuqqōtay | veh-hoo-koh-TAI |
| which | אֲשֶׁ֥ר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| I have commanded | צִוִּ֖יתִי | ṣiwwîtî | tsee-WEE-tee |
| עָלֶ֑יךָ | ʿālêkā | ah-LAY-ha | |
| thee, I will surely | קָרֹ֨עַ | qārōaʿ | ka-ROH-ah |
| rend | אֶקְרַ֤ע | ʾeqraʿ | ek-RA |
| אֶת | ʾet | et | |
| the kingdom | הַמַּמְלָכָה֙ | hammamlākāh | ha-mahm-la-HA |
| from | מֵֽעָלֶ֔יךָ | mēʿālêkā | may-ah-LAY-ha |
| give will and thee, | וּנְתַתִּ֖יהָ | ûnĕtattîhā | oo-neh-ta-TEE-ha |
| it to thy servant. | לְעַבְדֶּֽךָ׃ | lĕʿabdekā | leh-av-DEH-ha |
