யாத்திராகமம் 30:18
கழுவுகிறதற்கு வெண்கலத்தால் ஒரு தொட்டியையும், வெண்கலத்தால் அதின் பாதத்தையும் உண்டாக்கி, அதை ஆசரிப்புக் கூடாரத்திற்கும் பலிபீடத்திற்கும் நடுவே வைத்து, அதிலே தண்ணீர் வார்ப்பாயாக.

நியாயவிதி மார்ப்பதக்கத்திலே ஊரீம் தும்மீம் என்பவைகளை வைக்கவேண்டும்; ஆரோன் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதானத்தில் நுழையும்போது, அவைகள் அவனுடைய இருதயத்தின்மேல் இருக்கவேண்டும்; ஆரோன் தன்னுடைய இருதயத்தின்மேல் இஸ்ரவேலர்களுடைய நியாயவிதியைக் கர்த்தருடைய சந்நிதானத்தில் எப்பொழுதும் அணிந்துகொள்ளவேண்டும்.

நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு மார்ப்பதக்கத்திற்குள் ஊரீமையும் தும்மீமையும் வை. கர்த்தருக்கு முன் செல்லும்போது இவை ஆரோனின் மார்புக்கு மேலாக இருக்கும். இப்படியாக இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களின் நியாயத்தீர்ப்பை கர்த்தருக்கு முன்பாக ஆரோன் எப்போதும் சுமந்து செல்வான்.

தீர்ப்புக் கூறும் மார்புப் பட்டையில், ஊரிமையும்* தும்மியையும்* இட்டு வைப்பாய். ஆரோன் ஆண்டவர் திருமுன் செல்கையில், அவையும் அவன் நெஞ்சின்மேல் கிடக்கும். இவ்வாறு ஆரோன், ஆண்டவர் திருமுன் செல்லும்போதெல்லாம் இஸ்ரயேல் மக்களுக்கான தீர்ப்பைத் தம் நெஞ்சின்மேல் தாங்கி நிற்பான்.

And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron’s heart, when he goeth in before the LORD: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before the LORD continually.
