Romans 8:3
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

அது எப்படியென்றால், சரீரத்தினாலே பலவீனமாக்கப்பட்ட நியாயப்பிரமாணம் செய்யமுடியாததை தேவனே செய்வதற்காக, தம்முடைய குமாரனைப் பாவசரீரத்தின் சாயலாகவும், பாவத்தை நீக்கும் பலியாகவும் அனுப்பி, சரீரத்திலே பாவத்தை தண்டனைக்குள்ளாகத் தீர்த்தார்.

சட்ட விதிக்கு சக்தி இல்லை. ஏனென்றால் அது மனித பெலவீனங்களால் வரையறுக்கப்பட்டது. சட்ட விதியால் செய்ய முடியாததை தேவன் செய்து முடிக்கிறார். தேவன் தன் சொந்தக் குமாரனையே பூமிக்குப் பாவமனித சாயலாக அனுப்பினார். அவரை பாவத்தைப் போக்கும் பலியாகவும் கருதினார். எனவே மனித வாழ்க்கை மூலம் பாவத்தை அழித்தார்.
