And he that doubts is damned if he eat, because he eats not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

சரியானதுதான் என்ற நிச்சயமில்லாமல் ஒருவன் ஒரு உணவை உண்பானேயானால் அவன் தனக்குத் தானே தப்பானவனாகிறான். ஏனென்றால் அவனுக்கு அவனது செயலில் நம்பிக்கை இல்லை. எனவே நம்பிக்கை இல்லாமல் செய்யும் எச்செயலும் பாவமானதே.
