ஆனால் பேதுரு, தான் ஒருபோதும் இயேசுவுடன் இருந்ததில்லை என அங்கிருந்தவர்களிடம் கூறினான். பேதுரு “நீ என்ன பேசுகிறாய் என்றே எனக்குத் தெரியவில்லை” என்று கூறினான்.
