Matthew 20:28
Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

அப்படியே, மனிதகுமாரனும் பணிவிடை பெரும்படி வராமல், பணிவிடைசெய்யவும், அநேகரை மீட்கும் பொருளாகத் தம்முடைய ஜீவனைக் கொடுக்கவும் வந்தார் என்றார்.

மனித குமாரனும் அப்படியே. தனக்கு மற்றவர்கள் ஊழியம் செய்வதற்காக அவர் வரவில்லை. மற்றவர்களுக்கு ஊழியம் செய்யவே மனித குமாரன் வந்தார். பலரது வாழ்வை இரட்சிப்பதற்கு தன் உயிரைக் கொடுக்கவே மனித குமாரன் வந்தார்” என்று கூறினார்.
