The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a wine indulger, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.

மனிதகுமாரன் உண்கிறவராகவும் குடிக்கிறவராகவும் வந்தார்; அதற்கு அவர்கள்: இதோ, உணவுப்பிரியனும் மதுபானப்பிரியனுமான மனிதன், வரி வசூலிப்பவர்களுக்கும் பாவிகளுக்கும் நண்பன் என்கிறார்கள். ஆனாலும், ஞானமானது அதன் பிள்ளைகளால் நீதியுள்ளதென்று ஒப்புக்கொள்ளப்படும் என்றார்.
